1. Overview

At Gethookd, we want every customer to feel confident in their purchase. This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work, so you know exactly what to expect.

All plans include a 7-day free trial. During checkout, the charge date, amount, and plan details are clearly displayed. By completing checkout, you authorize the automatic charge at the end of your trial period.

2. Free Trial

  • All plans come with a 7-day free trial at no charge.
  • You can cancel at any time during your trial and you will not be charged.
  • If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and your payment method will be charged.

3. Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your subscription at any time — no questions asked, no hoops to jump through.

How to cancel

Go to Settings → Subscription → Cancel Subscription in the app. The cancellation flow will walk you through your options, including pausing your subscription or switching to a different plan.

What happens when you cancel

  • Your access continues until the end of your current billing period.
  • You will not be charged again.
  • Your saved data (boards, Brand Spy brands, swipe file) remains accessible until your billing period ends.

Alternatives to cancelling

4. Refund Policy

Important: Refunds are only available on your first billing charge (the charge immediately following your free trial). Ongoing subscription charges for subsequent billing cycles are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time to prevent future charges.

First charge (monthly subscriptions)

Usage includes any activity on the platform such as searching ads, tracking brands, generating Clone Ads, connecting Creative Analyzer, or consuming credits.

Annual subscriptions

  • Annual plans are non-refundable.
  • If you cancel an annual plan, your access continues until the end of your annual term.
  • In exceptional circumstances, a pro-rata refund for remaining full months may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Ongoing subscription charges

  • Charges beyond your first billing cycle are non-refundable. If you no longer wish to use the platform, cancel your subscription before the next billing date to avoid further charges.

Credit packs

  • Credit pack purchases are generally non-refundable. If you purchased a credit pack within the last 24 hours and have not consumed any credits, contact us and we'll review your request.

Repeat refunds

  • Each account is eligible for one refund. If a refund has previously been processed on your account, further refunds will not be available.

5. Disputes & Chargebacks

If you see a charge you don't recognize, please contact us before filing a dispute with your bank. Charges from Gethookd appear on your statement as GETHOOKD.AI or GETHOOKD AI.

We can typically resolve billing questions much faster than the bank dispute process, which can take several weeks. Our team is available via live chat and will review your account immediately.

Tip: If you're unsure about a charge, reach out to us first — we'll sort it out quickly and save you the hassle of a lengthy dispute process.

6. How to Request a Refund

You can request a refund through either channel:

Include your account email and a brief description of the issue. Our team will review your account and respond as quickly as possible. If approved, refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

7. Policy Changes
